Dave is a mild-mannered consultant by day. Part-time entrepreneur, foodie, traveler and photographer by night. Family man all the time. He's always looking to improve people's lives and sharing what he learns in the process.
As a web developer, Dave believes a user-focused experience should be baked into code at all levels. Whether that user is another programmer who has to maintain a code base long past its prime. Or the person using the software or website. Good usability and a great experience for all is the key to a successful project; not the afterthought.
As a team leader, Dave isn't afraid to ask questions and make sure everyone is heard. He's not afraid to eat an elephant and often leads the charge.
Figurative eating-of-elephants aside, Dave's father affectionately refers to him as "the frustrated chef" due to his passion for cooking. He loves to try new foods for both the experience and inspiration. Occasionally, he's even successful at bringing that inspiration home.
An infrequent blogger, Dave occasionally puts pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard) to share what he's learned with others. He aspires to write more but days keep getting shorter as great ideas and passionate people inspire him to do greater things.
Dave's often postponing blogging to satisfy his entrepreneurial spirit. Several solo projects and a few endeavors with friends keep him creating around the clock. You'll need to check back later for more information on those…
Pictures supplement his need to write a thousand words. Dave travels frequently and uses his camera to tell the stories of his excursions. He also uses the camera to tell the story of life's journey.
Where would he be without his family? Probably traveling the world. (Not to mention a little bit saner). But without them he wouldn't be as happy.
